The sky is falling;

A powerful composition. A dramatically destructive narrative entwined.

i could go on-but wont
just--the light under the heavily illuminating cloud like form
light goes under-but only in an area--and the slant makes me feel ther must be another cloud to its left. very very odd (in how i see it--ok-no words.)
nice.
i should read other comments-see what they see-i will later-now: your work to its end.-or begining.

It seems simple but there is a complexity there that I would like to concentrate more on.

There is devestating darkness on the land, on the water & in the skies. A Light comes from the Horizon that is all consuming, a fire of cleansing....but then I lose the train of thought.

I do wish I could see this in detail....as there is something I feel I am missing.

That is absolutely spot on, thank you so much for taking the time to write your response to this piece. That's exactly what I wanted this one to feel like.

Here's the thing...I lose my train of thought right at the 'fire of cleansing' point as well...I can't paint past it...or, rather I can't think past the concept to continue painting, I can only just find the place where I can make this painting work...it's a big canvas, bigger physically than I am, but it want's to be bigger, massive....

Your missing the detail in the darkness, the scratches and confusion, your also missing a (planned) tear in the canvas to the left and just below the 'horizon', you can see it if you look hard...

thanks again

It did take me a while to spot the tear in the canvas...

I love the thought of it being a large canvas, it would have to be large to make the impact you are looking for.
